A few short years ago, Steve Sprengel (Bloomingdale and Willowbrook) and Paul Goldenberg (Arlington Heights), principals of Lakeside Properties, Series LLC, had a challenging dream: create a haven of Michigan vacation homes on an all-sports lake — while preserving the natural beauty of the Southwest Michigan environment. They joined with fellow residential developer Jeff Posselt (Union Pier) and premier homebuilder Greg Fenner (Berrien Springs), and the search was on. They looked at well over 100 parcels of land in the area, never settling, until they found the perfect one on spectacular Lake Chapin. 	Greg Fenner, Builder and Lake Chapin Shores Partner Greg Fenner is a partner in Lake Chapin Shores and has built all of the homes in this exciting lake home community. He is owner of the prestigious Fenner Homes, Inc. construction firm he established in 1978 and is one of the owners of Fenner Plumbing, Inc. Greg has had a superior reputation for building fine individual residences in Michigan and Indiana for over 30 years. His 2007 Parade Home won a Best Interior Design Award and a Best Floor Plan Design Award. Greg recently fulfilled all the requirements to receive his designation as a Certified Green Professional.
