South Haven
South Haven is a charming town with quite a bit to offer.
You can go antiquing, shopping, hiking, snowmobiling, or
discover a new restaurant. There are festivals and concerts
to attend, and little streets to explore on a walk.
Snowmobiling: The City of South Haven has
opened many of its city streets to snowmobilers.
Snowmobiles
are also welcome on the 34 mile Kal-Haven trail with 4 or
more inches of snow. Call 800-SO-HAVEN for more details.
South Haven's world-famous Lighthouse is a
must see. It has been guarding the entrance of the Black
river for over 100 years and has been photographed countless
times in several publications.
Kal-Haven Trail State Park consists of 34 miles of
crushed limestone path connecting South Haven and Kalamazoo.
The trails, which meander through woods and farmland, and run
along rivers and streams, are perfect for cross-country
skiing.
