Tin Shop Theater features great productions of well-known
musicals and dramas.

Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve, located
nearby at 13988 Range Line Road, Niles, MI 49120, is
delightful in any season. It features a 55-acre Nature
Preserve complete with beautiful and well-marked trails.
After your hike, reward yourself with a delicious lunch at
Fernwood’s Café, with a view you are certain to enjoy.

St. Joe's
Riverbend Landings located just north of town on Red Bud
Trail and situated right on a beautiful, very wide section of
the St. Joe River.

Botetourt County Annual Fishing Carnival
The Botetourt County Recreation Department invites area kids aged 15 and under to enjoy an afternoon of fishing and games on the Buchanan Town Park on Saturday, June 4th. Activities begin at 9:00 am and run through 1:00pm. Voted one of the best community events in the Best of Botetourt, the event provides family fun. Prizes and fishing will rule
the day. Registration is the day of the event at the Town Park. For

Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July Carnival
July 1 through July 9th
Enjoy an old fashioned Fourth of July Carnival in downtown Buchanan. Voted as “Best Community Event” by readers of the Roanoke Times Botetourt View. Enjoy a traditional Carnival featuring Games, Rides, Food and Great Music. Activities begin at 6:30pm each evening.

Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July Parade
Join hundreds as they line Main Street, or, take part in the annual BVFD Fourth of July Parade on Monday, July 4th at 6:00pm.
Bahama Mamas Concert – Escape to the tropics during this all women steel drum performance on Saturday, August 27th at 7:30pm in the Buchanan Theatre. Enjoy a unique mix of traditional island music as well as contemporary classics.
Tin Shop Theatre
The Tin Shop was built in 1865-66 by a Buchanan merchant. It is located at the corner of Days Avenus and Roe Street. A different play is featured each month of the summer season. A charming way to experience a local theater production. For more information call 269-695-6464.
